Deal Buzz: Narsih Salon "Eyebrow Threading and Waxing"

Today, my best friend and I revisited Puloraya area in Kebayoran Baru where we used to go everyday during our high school years. However, we did not go back to revisit our school. Instead, we went to Narsih Salon, a place where we used to frequent when we needed a little pampering. Compared to 4 years ago, Narsih Salon has actually moved to a better and bigger place around the area. I had been to Narsih Salon several times during my high school years only to accompany my friends. During these visits, I did not use any of their services such as threading eyebrows or waxing. So, today was actually my first time to experience eyebrow threading in this salon. It was a pretty painful process but I was really satisfied with the result. The price was also really cheap as I only spent Rp. 20.000,- for it. Narsih Salon also offers many other treatments, including under arm waxing for (Rp.18.000,-), full bikini waxing (Rp.30.000,-), full leg waxing (Rp.35.000,-), and manicure/pedicure both (Rp. 50.000,-).

If you're looking for a place to get your eyebrows threaded or waxing with a very good deal, I strongly recommend Narsih Salon. The employees are really well-trained and friendly. You can also request to get direct treatment from the owner, Bu Narsih. If Bu Narsih is not available, you might want to get a treatment from Mbak Sus.

L'OCCITANE Cherry Blossom Solid Perfume

This petite guy from L'occitane is our latest great find. Compared to the other solid perfumes, this one has a very soft and fresh flowery scent. The texture is a bit wax like or a little similar to lip balm. To use it, you just need to rub it and put it on your pulse points like your wrists and behind your ear lobes. It is packed in a round metal tin of 10 ml. So it is small enough to throw in your evening bag and purse. Solid means there's no need to worry about spilling or carrying it with you onboard when traveling on a plane. Another pro about this perfume is that it does not contain alcohol, which is good for those with sensitive skins. The only downside is that the smell doesn’t last long, only about 2 hours on average, depending on your skin’s chemistry. Nonetheless, the perfume is a must have beauty piece, especially as a distraction from foul-smelling places during your travel trip, such as the smelly roadside toilets.
